Ghost Hunting Screening

Join us on Saturday, April 16 at 2pm at the Downtown Lansing Library (CADL) for a free screening and discussion of the award-winning Palestinian documentary Ghost Hunting.

There are currently over 4,500 Palestinians currently imprisoned by the Israeli state, including children. Many of those imprisoned are detained under the policy of “Administrative Detention,” meaning the state can imprison a Palestinian for an indefinite amount of time under the pretext of security, all without ever charging them with a crime or placing them on trial. Torture and abuse by guards and soldiers is very common in these prisons. Ghost Hunting follows a group of former Palestinian prisoners as they attempt to make a film about their imprisonment and subsequent trauma.

All are welcome.

Date & Time: Saturday, April 16, 2pm
